SMITE 4.14 Datamining News

Greetings SMITE fans! We have the latest datamining news, circa Patch 4.14.

We have confirmation of new skins, a new Japanese god, Season 5 news and more.

Starting off, we have two skins for Kukulkan and Skadi so far, of which not much has been revealed other than that they are based around dragons.

Next, we have a new Japanese god, speculated to be a warrior named Hachiman, a god of archery and war. His abilities aren’t exactly known, but we do have a basic idea of what they are:

Passive - Bonus Power for nearby gods. It is unknown if it affects allies, enemies, or both.

AA - May have an explosion as part of his hit chain.

1 - Toggle skill, similar to Rama’s 1, effect it has is unknown.

2 - Some sort of damage buff ability.

3 - A seemingly interchangeable attack, where you can roll then knockup, or knockup then roll.

4 - Like Guan Yu’s ult on trenbolone, this ultimate mounts Hachiman on a horse with an ability to attack with a ranged weapon (presumably the archery side of Hachiman inspired this). The end of the ultimate ends with an explosion.

Next up, we have some minor news for the 2018 Odyssey:

Odyssey Chest - Contains a chance for a 600, 400 or 250 Gem skin, a 300 Gem Ward skin, an Avatar, Voice Pack, Global Emote, Recall Skin, and a smaller chance of an Exclusive Skin or Convention Skin.

Bonus Odyssey Chest - Contains most of the same items, however you are guaranteed a 200 Gem Avatar as opposed to just any avatar; also includes a 3 day booster.

Next, we have potential Season 5 changes (these changes are not guaranteed), with it approaching sooner than later. As far as we know, the Chaos and Order sides may have different towers (unknown if there is a real difference or just aesthetic look).

There are a lot of NPC changes, so let’s go over them.

  • A new jungle camp minion based off a Satyr that grants MP5 and Movement Speed.

  • Fire Giant’s Might remains relatively unchanged, however it has less Magical and Physical Power. (50 Magical, 35 Physical.)

  • The biggest change: a new Enhanced Fire Giant may be entering the Battleground of the Gods that holds a better reward for slaying it.

  • The buff dubbed “Fire Giant’s Rage” instead gives 90 Magical Power and 60 Physical Power as opposed to the 50 Magical Power and 35 Physical Power the new Fire Giant’s Might gives.

That’s all the information we have for future changes. Be sure to stay tuned for more, SMITE fans!
